甚麼是你最想忘記的? 或是說你最想忘記誰?
Jim Carrey飾演Joel，Kate Winslet飾演Clementine，兩個演技都超優的，這個故事很簡單也很優，
Joel 發現女友Clementine 不認識他了，後來又發現原來Clementine去了"忘情診所"，
戀愛兩年後，Joel 痛恨Clementine，Clementine也痛恨Joel，
兩個人分別前後去了忘情診所，兩個人消除了對方的記憶，

相異的個性，猜忌，爭吵，傷心的過往在消除記憶的過程中，一一倒帶重現，
Joel也發現了珍貴的兩人記憶，開始不願消除，想要保留，在無意識中開始抗拒記憶被消除，
抗拒是無效的，仍然是被消除過去戀情的記憶，

在忘記了對方後，Joel 還是被橘子妹Clementine所吸引，Clementine還是看中Joel，
正當戀情重新展開，慢慢的還是找到不想記起的過往，
兩人仍是得面對相異的個性，即將會有的猜忌，不斷的爭吵，
選擇釋懷，包容，兩人的心還是互相向著對方的。
